About The Deal Horizon Service
The Deal Horizon platform enables information exchange between investors who are committed to funding high-risk entrepreneurial opportunities and executives of early or late-stage entrepreneurial companies. No service or information provided by Deal Horizon shall be construed to imply that Deal Horizon endorses, recommends, or is associated with a particular investment opportunity, investor, or executive. Any investor who uses this service must meet the definition of an "accredited investor" under the terms dictated by the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) or local jurisdiction if outside the US. Note: Membership in the service, and use of this site, is void where prohibited. We reserve the right to modify these terms of service at any time. Your membership of and use of the Deal Horizon service indicates your unconditional acceptance of the following terms of service.

Basic Terms of Service
Our basic terms of service are: use your real name, be honest, have fun and treat your fellow Deal Horizon members with respect. You must be over 18 to use this service. Your profile is non-transferrable. Members must obey the laws of the jurisdiction within which they are accessing the service. If you object to anything in this Agreement, or do not meet the criteria for membership, do not use the Deal Horizon website or any associated service. In addition, Deal Horizon Members should not at any time use the Deal Horizon service or DealHorizon.com site to:

1. Spam, harass or annoy other users
2. Spread false or misleading information
3. Post any text or display advertising for third party goods and services
4. Attempt to interfere with the performance of the Deal Horizon site
5. Aggregate or mine data from the site for any commerical purpose, including reselling of such data
6. Create competitive services based on any Deal Horizon content, styles, code, or information
7. Post content related to adult, pornographic, or gaming-related businesses
8. Carry out any action that reduces the quality or availability of information

Penalties for Non-Compliance
Members who fail to adhere to these guidelines may be permanently blocked from the site, and may not be allowed to re-register. Any information, content or profiles provided by the offending member will be removed from the site, including any and all listings created or controlled by the member. Deal Horizon shall not be liable for any damages associated with termination of a member's account.

Limitations of Liability
Deal Horizon does not function as a broker-dealer or investment advisor and is not registered as such with any federal or state securities regulator. Deal Horizon is an information service and does not sell or offer to sell any securities and no information contained on this site is intended to constitute or to be interpreted as any such offer. Members interested in conducting transactions with other members should seek legal advice specific to their jurisdiction prior to contemplating the sale of any securities. The sale or purchase of securities by any member must remain a private, independently negotiated transaction between the members and Deal Horizon shall not be a participant in any such transaction. Due diligence and negotiations of terms are the responsiblity of members, and members understand that all communications between members are conducted at their own risk. In no event shall Deal Horizon be liable for loss of earnings or any other commercial damages, including without limitation direct or indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or other damages, losses or costs arising out of or in correlation with the use of this site or including without limitation, interactions with other members, claims arising from any malfunction or defects in the site or any inability to access or utilize the site by any party, or in connection with any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, defect, disruption of operations, or telecommunications or system malfunction.

Information
You agree that all information submitted to Deal Horizon becomes the property of Deal Horizon and may be used by Deal Horizon for any legal purpose. You hereby agree not to post on the service, or transmit to any other members, any defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, obscene, profane, offensive, sexually oriented, threatening, harassing, racially offensive, or illegal material, or any material that infringes or violates another party's rights (including, but not limited to, intellectual property rights, and rights of privacy and publicity). Deal Horizon reserves the right to release any member information or content if required to do so by court order. Deal Horizon cannot guarantee the veracity or completeness of content or information provided by Deal Horizon members. Deal Horizon provides tools for management of profile and listing privacy settings.

Account Security
As a Deal Horizon member, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the member username and password that you designate during the Deal Horizon signup process, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your username and password. You agree to (a) immediately notify Deal Horizon of any unauthorized use of your username or password or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session. Deal Horizon will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this provision. You should use particular caution when accessing your account from a public or shared computer so that others are not able to view or record your password or other personal information.

Intellectual Property
You agree not to infringe or misuse the DealHorizon™ and SecretSource™ trademarks and service marks owned by Content and Systems Pte Ltd, or the rights of any trademarks or service marks, patents, business information or any other intellectual property owned by other members, individuals, or organizations.

Communications
You agree that any Deal Horizon member that contacts any other member, whether an investor, an entrepreneur, or a service provider, using the messaging system provided by the Deal Horizon platform, does so at their own risk. All members are solely and individually responsible for the veracity of their communications, and for any subsequent financial, legal or technical due diligence. Please select the privacy setting that best fits your communications needs and refrain from using the system to transmit confidential data.
